Overview

Himachal Pradesh is a northern Indian state in the Himalayas. It’s home to scenic mountain towns and resorts such as Dalhousie. Host to the Dalai Lama, Himachal Pradesh has a strong Tibetan presence. This is reflected in its Buddhist temples and monasteries, as well as its vibrant Tibetan New Year celebrations. The region is also well known for its trekking, climbing and skiing areas.

Itinerary

  • Receive from Chandigarh Airport / Railway Station by private vehicle.Enjoy the Scenic Himalayas from the window of your cab. On the ways, stopover at Pinjore Garden and rope-way at Timber Trail Resort if time permits. Car will pass through Delhi, Parwanoo, Barog and Solan on the way to Shimla. On arrival check in at Hotel. Evening Free at the Shimla Mall and Ridge. Overnight stay at Shimla.

  • After morning Breakfast Proceed to Shimla Sightseeing visit the Naledra-one of the highest golf courses in the world, CharabaraFagu and Kurfi&Jakhu Ropeway (excluding cable tickets) to enjoy the most magnificent mountain views of the Himalayas. After Sightseeing Back to Hotel. Evening you can spend time at the Shimla Mall on your own. Overnight stay at Shimla.

  • After Morning Breakfast leave for Manali-most popular hill station on the bank of River Beas, drive through hill roads crossuing rivers and mountains, on arrival check in Hotel at Manali. Overnight stay at Manali.


After Breakfast Proceed to manali sightseeing Visit Solang Nallah,( Solang Valley) Vashishtha Temple and Hirimba Temple. After SightSeeing Beck to Hotel . Evening you can spend time at the Manali Mall on your own. Overnight stay at Manali.

A distance of 260 kilometre on the way stopping at Baijnath known for its Shiva Temple and further at Palampur famous For Tea Garden. Dharamshala is a hill-station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar Mountains about 18 Kms north-east of Kangra, It is known for its scenic beauty set amidst high pine and oak trees. Since 1959, when it became the temporary headquarters & Abode of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Dharamshala has risen to international repute as “The Little Lhasa in India”. Overnight stay at Dharamshala.

After Breakfast drive from Dharamshala towards Dalhousie after doing the local sightseeing of Places which includes, His holiness Dalai lama residence &Tsugalkhang at Mc Leodgunj, St. john’s church in the wilderness (Built in 1853),War memorial, Bhagsunath temple and Dal Lake, Norbulingka, GyutoRameda Tantric Monastery. Reach Dalhousie in the evening. Overnight stay at Dalhousie.
