Overview

Sikkim is a state in northeast India, bordered by Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal. Part of the Himalayas, the area has a dramatic landscape that includes India’s highest mountain, 8,586m Kangchenjunga. Sikkim is also home to glaciers, alpine meadows and thousands of varieties of wildflowers. Steep paths lead to hilltop Buddhist monasteries such as Pemayangtse, which dates to the early 1700s.

Itinerary

Receive from Bagdogara Airport/ NJP Railway Station & Transfer to hotel. Check in your Hotel. Overnight at Siliguri.

After breakfast, checkout from hotel & Transfer to South Sikkim, On the way visit Coronation Bridge an excellent Architecture over river Teesta. The border town of Sikkim with West Bengal. Visit South Sikkim Namchi (Chardham) &Ravangla (Buddha Park). After visit transfer to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Check in your Hotel. Overnight at Gangtok

After breakfast we proceed to Gangtok local sightseeing visit BanjhakriWaterfalls, Dodrul chorten, Namgyal institute of tibetology, Ropeway (Depends on weather conditions), Flower show, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Bakthang waterfalls, Tashi View point. After sightseeing back to hotel. Evening free time for personal activities. Overnight stay at Gangtok


After breakfast transfer to visit Tsomgo lake, New Baba Mandir, Old Baba Mandir. After visit drive to Nathang. The route is interesting and subjected to the condition of ice in road. Falling on the day are visits to Lungthung at 13000 ft, Gnathang Valley, Tukla Valley (12500 ft), Jepepla Pass Viewpoint and Kupup Lake. Also visit the Yak Golf Course, highest in the world and located at a height of 13,025 ft above sea level. Overnight at Lungthung. *(Nathula pass permit in subject to availability on direct payment basis).

After an early morning breakfast, Proceed to Zuluk. Before that, you will first have to go through procedures and documentation to get permits for the place. Perched on a rugged terrain, the primitive town of Zuluk lies very close to the Indo-China Border, and was once famous for being a stop point on the Silk Route. After visit transfer to Rishi Khola. Rishikhola is a small valley situated on the bank of the river Reshi at an altitude of 2,000ft, famous among the travelers for the camping and picnicking. Reach Rishikhola and check in hotel. After freshening up you are free for the rest of the day to take a relaxing stroll on the river bank is an idyllic spot for romancing the moonlight. Overnight stay at Rishikhola.

After morning breakfast, transfer to Sillerygaon. Visit Ramitey view point, offers a panoramic view of the 14 bends of the river Teesta. Damsang fort, observe the ruins of the last home of Lepcha King. After visit back to Rishikhola. Overnight stay at Rishikhola.

After breakfast, Check out from hotel and transfer to Rishop, After Lunch transfer to Siliguri. Check in hotel. Overnight stay at Siliguri.

After morning breakfast check out from hotel & free time until drop to Siliguri NJP/IXB. Trip End.
